Welcome to Allen’s Dockside Marine Inc. on beautiful Timber Island in Carrabelle Florida. We are located on the Carrabelle River in the northwest Panhandle part of Florida’s Forgotten Coast. Allen’s Dockside Marine Inc provides services to meet all your marina and boating needs. We specialize in haul outs. Our capabilities include a Wiggins Bull forklift (maximum capacity 10 tons) and a 50 ton travel lift. For sail boats, the 50 ton P&H Crane makes rigging and/or stepping the mast a safe and simple procedure. Once hauled out, we offer a full line of bottom job services. Dockside has a newly stocked and expanding ship store. Join the area’s only Hurricane Club; membership assures haul out, space in the dry storage area and tie downs for your vessel.
Dockside Marine has the largest marine facility on the Carrabelle River (7.5 acres). The acreage provides the perfect space for long term and short term storage, dockage including wet slips, and a full service boatyard. Storage facilities include building, covered storage, outside rack, and boat on trailer storage. We offer a low key friendly atmosphere with qualified staff that will assist you in any way possible. Dockside takes pride in giving or finding their customers what they need to enjoy their boating experience. We readily make referrals and arrange contacts when necessary.
Dockside Marine lies closer to Saint George Sound and the Gulf of Mexico than any other in Carrabelle, yet protected by location on Timber Island. For those who visit our facility by air, we are located 2 miles from the Carrabelle airport with its 4300 ft runway. There are many restaurants and lodging in close proximity to Dockside; some a short walk away. The marina is about a 25 minute drive from beautiful St. George Island. Boaters can reach Dog Island in about 20 minutes. Both beaches offer pristine beaches, native flora and fauna and wildlife. The fishing on the Carrabelle waterways and the Gulf of Mexico is renowned. Come on down, stop in and stock up on bait, ice, and drinks. Use our boat ramp to launch. Afterwards use our fish cleaning station for filleting your big catch!
