David and Gale Allen - Owners
David has been coming to Carrabelle since 1959 and Gale since 1994.
Both love the small town feel and the friendliness of the area, but most importantly,
the beautiful scenery. David's enthusiasm for life keeps him busy. He enjoys reading,
cooking, wood working, refurbishing old cars, the outdoors, and fishing. But
his passion is flying and sailing. Gale loves reading, cooking, camping, traveling,
and the outdoors. Both retired from other careers before taking over the management
of the marina on Timber Island. Gale taught elementary school for 30 years
and David flew corporate during his early career and then spent 32 years as a commercial
pilot.
Nelson Woods - Dockmaster
Nelson has been with Dockside Marine for almost three years and is very
knowledgeable of the area and the residents here. He has lived in Carrabelle
for over 15 years with his wife Alisha and their 4 children. He enjoys fishing,
being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
TJ Jackson - Boat Yard Manager
TJ is a Carrabelle Native and has grown up on and around boats his whole
life. TJ lives in Carrabelle with his wife and daughter. TJ brings a
special talent of bottom job service knowledge and boat repair that is unique to
this area.
April Shuster - Office Manager
April was hired as Office Manager in January 2008. Along with her business
degree she brings her past experience of the marine industry and business background
to our marina and she is very excited to join the Allen’s Dockside Marine
Inc Team!! April lives in Carrabelle Beach with her husband and enjoys boating,
the outdoors, cooking, and the white sandy beaches of Franklin County!
